Study Industrial Engineering (4th year) in Comillas Pontifical University - ICAI (Madrid)

Industrial Engineering is the most popular branch of engineering in Spain; in fact, approximately half of all Spanish engineers are specialised in industrial engineering. The reasons for its success are its demanding generalist approach (mathematics, physics and other essential subject matter), the in-depth knowledge it provides of the different technologies required in modern industry (mechanics, electronics, electricity, communications, Computer Systems and IT Engineering, etc.) together with skills in organization and management (management, economics, business organisation, logistics and production). In addition, ICAI Industrial Engineers stand out for their capacity for work, responsibility and critical thinking skills.

An ICAI industrial engineer is in high demand among all types of companies. He is capable of successfully working in any industrial sector, and is often offered jobs in the world of consulting, management and finance. Many ICAI engineers occupy top management posts in leading national and multinational companies.

The academically-demanding degree programme has been designed to enable students to develop the skills and abilities they will need as industrial engineers. In spite of the demands of the degree, the students' performance is exceptional, with a very low drop out rate and an average duration of 6 years (Including the Final Year Project). Throughout their studies the students receive the constant guidance and support of teachers and tutors.
